Performance Coaches Curling
Salary: 37,000 - 38,500 p.a. depending on experience
Based at the sportscotland institute of sport (Stirling)
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the sportscotland institute of sport inviting applications for Performance Coaches on the Scottish and British programme (Mens and Womens). You will coach a Podium or Podium Potential team from the British programme as well as coordinate the individual development plans of 4-6 other curlers from the British and/or Scottish programme. You will work towards medal success at World level and, in particular, 2018 Olympic and sustained success beyond.
You will have experience of team coaching at an international level along with demonstrable
ability to lead on the progression of individual curlers. It is important that you have a strong
commitment to challenging yourself to be the very best coach along with contributing to
coach development across the Scottish and British programme.
A proven team player, you need to be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering
results. Excellent communication skills are a must.
If you think you have what it takes to be a one of the full time coaches within the overall team to deliver medal success at the 2018 Olympics and develop the Scottish and British programmes to ensure sustained success at Olympic and World level post 2018, then we welcome an application from you.
