Olympic Women's

Starts either 5 hours later than the Men's, or three days earlier, again...time zones > me...

Will Roth stun the world?

What's the over under on times NBC refers to Becca Hamilton's Mixed errors as "Seeking redemption"?

I think they'll do alright. I'd say they're a long shot to make the playoffs for sure, but I wouldn't count them out either.

I'll go with 13.5....at least once per match, sometimes twice. So, say 1.5 times per match multiplied by nine matches: 13.5.

I can't understand you having problems with the time differential, it is 14 hours ahead of Eastern Time, so if is 08:00 AM in Can/USA it is 22:00 Hrs or 10 PM in Korea. So when it is 10:00 AM in Can/USA it is midnight in Korea and they then sleep.

That's great, other than that you also have to factor in the NBC Adjustment where for the US market, some of the games are live, some are taped, all of them are online live, unless they aren't, and then some are replayed later...

So for all I know, if I were locked to just watching on NBCSN, the games could have occurred 3 days ago and I'm only getting to see them tomorrow (that's an exaggeration, but you get my point).

I guess South Korea should have set draw times to accommodate USA time zones, because we all know the world revolves around the USA. Jeez, some people.

What games haven't been streamed live online? I've been able to find every game I wanted to watch.

Here's a cheat sheet for those who are time-zone challenged. As a bonus, I even added USA games, where applicable, but I'm not matching broadcast TV games to the actual day and time those games were played.

Hmmmm.....this is the women's thread, they didn't play the host country and certainly didn't win.

The came out so tight, you just needed to look at their faces to realize this may be a problem. When Nina went to the hack to throw Tabitha second stone in the 3rd it was obvious they were lost out there.

The beauty of it is it was only their first game and Japan is not a bad loss. They need to shake it off and get ready for the next game. A marathon, not a sprint. They are a solid team and know they can compete with anyone

Go get them in game two!

Well...they stayed alive by about an inch. Not a great sign that Denmark took them to the brink.

Nah....we won a game...Cleveland can't even manage that.

More like the Buffalo Bills, consistently there, but can't seal the deal.

Less choices available now, must win and Japan must lose.

But, worst case, they'll place better than Canada... That's something

It's 8:30 AM. I should be working...

But Switzerland did their part, and as we speak, Team USA is tied in the 10th, without hammer, but with stones in a formation that *might* lend itself to a steal.

Win or lose, a far better performance than last cycle.

Hoping they can pull this one out of the hat, running out of stones to do it though.

And no such luck...Roth's last two draws both were....less than ideal....and Sweden takes 3...

A good run, tied for 5th.

US Women ended up kind of where expected - middle of the pack with a low probability of making playoffs.

Yes, the final shots in the 10th were less than inspirational. I also was not a fan of skip stones in the first. That should have been two at the worst, giving up three in the first is a killer.

I'm sure they are disappointed but they are young and this was a great learning experience. I am guessing they will all be back again.
