Silversides' Study

From BC, a very interesting published study comparing ice damage by rocks, a hair broom, an EQ and a Hardline. Other than the extreme close-up photos of some synthetic broom heads posted on Curling Zone, this is the first broom study I've seen with any hard data instead of just conclusions or the controversial videos.

An interesting study but with limited data (the author himself suggests further, more detailed testing is required) and it doesn't do any technique testing.

Details of methodology are missing, but in the limited images provided you can clearly see the scratches deposited on the ice and on top of the pebble.
