That's just how Sportsnet roles. They also have the NHL rights now, so I guess I shouldn't complain we're getting 4 days coverage of a 6 day event

I wonder about things, like, if we call an orange an "orange," then why don't we call a banana a "yellow" or an apple a "red"? Blueberries I understand, but will someone explain gooseberries to me?

CBC coverage seems to be a game on the 13th Men's QF and then on the 14th Men's final both games at 12 noon ESt

Rather CBC cover the curling than TSN.

TSN mostly shows the curling on its TSN 2-4 that many people dont have, least everyone can watch on CBC.

The fewer games on CBC the better. If it isn't hockey, they give any sport short shrift IMO.

This has probably been answered elsewhere, but why did they have 10-end games last week? Love it, because teams can rally from behind more often. But I see they're back to 8-end games again.

It's a CCA vs WCT thing. All C CA events are 10, so Canada Cup, Brier, Scotties. The Workd Curling Tour are all 8 ends.

There's very little difference in comeback percentage between 8 or 10 end games. The spread in chance of coming back starts with 5 ends remaining, so a slow start in an 8 or 10 ends game results in ~1% difference in chance of coming back to win.
