After many months of analyzing - i have decided to change the rules for eligibility . If a team qualifies for any event - they automatically lose the qualification if they drop a team player. Prior to registration teams may declare 4 players and a 5th man.

The only exception to the above would be due to health or retirement, and this would have to be applied for.

I agree. All too often teams are "removing" a player after qualifying or even enroute to the big show. What's wrong with dancing with the girl you brought. Every time I hear or read about someone being being booted from a team I have to wonder if there's a better way to divide the points earned by the team to prevent or to better deter the scr@wing of the odd man out.

The simple fact is these shenanigans will continue until the CCA grows a spine and makes rules to prevent this from happening.

Until then teams will keep screwing players and giving them nothing for their efforts getting them to the trials.
