I had to dig around to find the page

Six Cdn WOMEN's teams - http://www.worldcurl.com/events.php...3075&view=Teams

Six Cdn Men's teams - http://www.worldcurl.com/events.php...3073&view=Teams

Confusing with Curling Masters in Europe last week - and congrats to only Cdn there, for winning it... Grattan of NB

There are only a hand full of Canadian teams because they invited every Olympic rep and possible Olympic rep. They did the same thing last time so I don't know why this is an issue now.

My question is: Why are they letting other countries play in the Masters in an Olympic year? What about the top 15 ranked teams? 12 outta 15 on the money list and merit list are Canadian. Why aren't they playing?

The reason for the amount of international team, is to get a sort of 'Olympic preview'. With the confirmed trials teams playing against some Olympic teams, I think it's a great idea

So, there is no actual draw posted - I guess it is two groups of eight in this event. Are the TOP eight group 1 and the bottom eight group 2?

I read hear on CZ that it would be such a rush for these womens teams to get from Wpg to Abbotsford in time - but the draws are just now starting - well still a few hours from now. Not such a panic after all.

There is no draw posted, but if you go to the scores, the teams playing each other are shown, a bit of a pain, right Pierre Charette or is it Pierre Poutine?

I'm more excited about the pre trials than this. I don't know who I want. Definitely not Howard. If Liu wins, at least that's a change from the usual Howawrd, martin, McEwan.

I'd like to be wrong, id like to see a new team win a big event.

Out of personal preference id love to see epping win and if he cant either ulsrud or stjerne..maybe George.

on the womens side id like to see mirjam ott win and if not her either middaugh or wang

really not a fan of what the george rink appears to be doing. Play the game, dont try and run things out until the end with a 1 point lead. If there were only 1 or 2 ends left i wouldnt mind but they better try something soon and if they dont i hope it burns them

kind of a depressing morning draw. all the games were effectively over after the 5th end minus the ulsrud/george game

So, is it a seeded draw? It can't be a round robin. Seems like WAY Too many teams. Would like to know how this works.

Mcewen being 0-2 has got to be the surprise of the event so far..They have curled a lot lately though, maybe fatigue is an issue

human getting smoked by nedohin was also a bit of a shocker

you'd think even would have to win tonight to keep her hopes of advancing alive.

That makes sense. Now, how do we know who is in which group - without transposing the draw onto yellow foolscap?
