TSN Skins Game

I was surprised when I looked at the teams invited at the Skins Game. Two European teams and because it collides this year with the Ontario Scotties, no Homan. Here are the matchups. I thought that with the Canadian Open being in early January that the Skins Game wouldn't happen this year. The absence of Gushue is the only surprise, but the announcement came before his first match, so it's not surprising that they didn't want to invite a team whose skip is a question mark even though he expect to be 100% by that time.

Jones vs Carey
Muirhead vs Sweeting

Edin vs Koe
Jacobs vs McEwen

Thanks for posting this as I had checked TSN's broadcast schedule and also did not think there would be a skin's game this year. I did not know that Sportsnet had picked it up and moved it back to early Feb. Maybe Pinty's sponsorship had some influence on the broadcaster and date? No matter as there is just some more curling on TV which is nice.

Pretty ridiculous to see Gushue not involved, even without Brad as they still have been the best Canadian team this season. Is it possible they turned it down?

As for McEwen, this is not the year they should be in the "All-Star" Skins game, but they are owed a mulligan considering the number of times they've been passed over when they did deserve it.

TSN will be broadcasting the Skins Game. It says so at the bottom of the press release.

Thank to those that posted the link. I just had not gone far enough down to see the Skin's game on it as I did not think it would be in Feb.
