Alberta Scotties

It's an interesting year for Alberta in women's curling that could create some opportunities. We've got 3 slam teams playing but none are dominant this season. Been good but not great. Kelsey Rocque's move to GP means she's less competitive and playing mainly Alberta events.

Of note, a sleeper pick of a few, Jodi Marthaller has won over Rocque to slide ahead in the A group.

Interesting to see what everyone else can show here this week.

Scheidegger and Carey are rolling towards their first of 3 possible meetings.

No Sask thread- so you in Sask actually thinks Anderson/Holland would be able to win the Scotties, let alone do well in the worlds. They need to stick to seniors/masters.

Why the dislike for these teams? I believe Sherry Anderson is the only one over 50 on either team. No I don't think either team would win the Scotties but there only a few teams in Canada that can win the Scotties. Kerry Galusha can go to as many Scotties as she wants to but in my opinion she will not win it. So I'm not sure why you feel they should not try to win their province?

Marthaller vs Roque- what a boring game. Junior semi games were more exciting than this one.
