let the big show commence

Interesting there are several big guns at this years Brier in Edmonton, we know who there are without doubt have to be the favorites either Martin, Howard, or Stoughton? lets see if there will be a "DARK HORSE TEAM" to come into play and sneak up the leader board and perhaps SURPRISE US ALL, are THERE ANY SUGGESTIONS ? I would like to go OUT on a limb and suggest that Eddie Mckenzie team PEI will win more than one game at this years Brier?.... PERHAPS EVEN UPSET ONE OF THE FAVORITE CONTENDERS is that going out on a limb or what?

i dont think i will drink that koolaid. thats not on a limb. thats going out on the twig at the end of the limb. how about the young guys from saskland? they are my darkhorse.

I concur Northern Ontario's Brad Jacobs could very well be a 'candidate" he has been knocking at the door several times, perhaps this is his year? however never count out those newfies to be up on the leader board You can bet Glenn Howard is optimistic making his record breaking 15 appearance at the Brier will he go out with a "bang' or a whimper'?

I agree with you. If that team maintains the form they had in the saskatchewan playdowns they are a darkhorse for playoffs. I dont expect them to take down the big 3 but they can definately take down gushue, menard and maybe jacobs

I give them a chance at a 7-4 record if they keep it up.

My underdog team is Team Jacobs from Northern Ontario. Thought about going with Saskatchewan, but just feel like they're too much of a wild card, even though they are very talented.
