I would like to see 2-3 slams per year restricted to Canadian teams only. Gives the newer teams half a chance. Many of the top Canadian teams, especially men's, are getting older and need to be replaced sooner than later.

the thing is the grand slams are designed to invite the top teams in the world not just canada. once you start cutting out international teams you start going a ways down the list to get entrants.

i suppose you say the canadian open could be exclusively canadian since it's in the name.

i wouldn't mind if they tried creating grand slams outside canada. put i in asia , europe and the united states.
