US Women's Nationals late?

Why did we schedule only one week between the completion of Women's Nationals and the start of the Women's World Championship?

The calendar gets very compressed in Olympic Years, as our Best Teams are dedicated to competing in South Korea for 4 weeks (2 weeks prep, 2 weeks for the Olympics themselves).

Unlike Canada, we don't keep our Olympians from competing for National Championships.

So, the only spot on the calendar is where it is.
