I don't think they even have it finalized yet. Last year they didn't announce all the dates until the Players' Championship in April, and all locations weren't announced until a few months afterwards. Not to mention there is (or at least was) supposed to be another new event added next year.

First event will be last weekend in October in Okotoks, Alberta. Dates are all set though I believe some locations are being finalized yet.

That's the Masters. If GSOC Challenge is back, it would be before, wouldn't it be?

No, it will be later in the season due to a Sportsnet TV conflict.

2016 Masters, Pinty's Grand Slam
Okotoks, Alberta is looking forward to hosting the 2016 Masters. Planning and preparations are well underway and the initial ticket voucher program is going very well. For those who don't know where Okotoks is located, it is about 20 minutes south of Calgary in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
The curling will take place in the Pason Centennial Arena. Plans are underway for a 'Rockin' good time. Early Bird full week passes are on sale. Hoping to see curling fans from all across Canada at this event which will have the best field in curling!

They wanted to have 8 events next season including one in early January as seen here. Do you expect them to have one less event than they originally scheduled?

That appears to be the case. With the change to the Tour Challenge, the thought was to wait until after the 2018 Olympics to go to 8 since they could really only run 7 on the Olympic year as well. (December date doesn't work after the Olympic Trials)

Hi Gerry,
Do you know what the plan is regarding expanding the number of tier 2 events?

likely locations?
Are any of these events likely to be held in either Manitoba or anywhere in Ontario along Lake Superior? Those are within reasonable driving range for me, and I'd like to see one. Any details anyone may know (whether they're final or not) would be helpful.

We are still waiting for an event in Southwestern Ontario. Even a successful Brier in LOndon didn't seem to entice the WCT,
