Did Brooks fold? Anyone know the story there?

I don't know the full details but one of Nolan Thiessen's blogs about the "Professional Curler" mentioned that Brooks folded. Didn't give much reasoning behind it.

From an article in Brooks they are indicating that the increased costs of running the event combined with a lack of volunteers in key board of director positions made it so that they couldn't host the event to the standards that was provided for the past number of years.
