Sponsorship

I have come to the conclusion that there is way too much sponsorship for the high level curlers. It is obvious, by the curlers attitudes, that winning at the players championship is not high priority. Seems the prize money isn’t enough incentive. Take the sponsorship money and put it into the total purse of all the cash tournaments that earn tour points.

Only a few teams at any given time win most of the prize money. However, the cost of attending the events in efforts to improve for the teams that do not win is just as much. Hence taking sponsorship away from these teams to give to the ones that win would be totally unfair. Plus, the better teams will already have bigger sponsorship money too.
