Can't believe Gushue is still curling 100%. Hope for them they win this.

rasmus 2nd shot appears to pic. - first i have seen. - a bit light

edin has 2 in eight behind guard and gushue 2 in 4

bam bam ticks one out and rolls into 4 lining up triple

oscar draws a little heavy
gushue tics one and edin blows triple - close but no cigar
brads last half open to lie 3 - 100%

4 women's Grand slams this year and 4 winners different plus 3 first time winners. No one is really stepping up and dominating them his year.

Question Gushue win over Edin

I'm puzzled... the official score was posted as 8-3, so Edin's spin-o-rama shot was clearly not scored, but he seemed to make the shot... He didn't blow the hog line... and looks like it was a nose hit on Gushue's... So what gives?

One of his sweepers appeared to nudge it.

The spinerama was Sweden officially conceding the game so the final score was 5-3 ..... which essentially better reflects the result - quite clear that the final score would have been 6-4 had the game finished

This is also reinforced by my pre-game prediction of Gushue 6 -Edin 4 which I am surprised that no one has congratulated me on - an uncanny prediction so close to the final score that indicates such phenomenal curling wisdom that my future posts should be taken as writ ....

I mention this as my many prior predictions have an accuracy of approximately 50% aka as the kiss of death

On Saturday, the TV guys were doing a little thing on John and they quoted him on saying something about all his years with Kevin gave him the ability to see things other people couldn't.

I think John actually believes that. While it might be said that people on LSD see different things as well, the truth is that a lot of people see things John misses. I thought that was pretty poor when he tried to hang that setup for Edin's two on the sweepers. It tells me he isn't able to learn from his own mistakes.

I'm a strong supporter of Team Morris, and John is an asset to that team, but they seriously are deficient in the strategy department at exactly the wrong time. The shot John called for Jim on his first rock in 8 against Edin was so awful. He was laying one, and John calls, and Jim makes a shot that takes out shot rock and improves their position by half an inch. All at the cost of losing the chance to improve on their advantage and preserve the opportunity for 2 and the extra. And, led to Jim having no shot on his last. That is just sad.

John has made some very poor calls that have cost that team dearly this season. They need a coach.

They've been runner up in the Brier and runner up in the Trials. They are a great team, but John's brain farts on the tee have lost those competitions.
