Canada Cup SFM

Assuming that all teams entered play, and based on current rankings today (Nov 25) can someone verify what the final SMF would be for the Canada cup? I'm trying to wrap my head around the calculation but I'm not sure if I am doing it right:

Mens:

Cumulative SFM: 3.25

Scaled SFM: 9.75
Max purse: x1.25
Canada Cup Multiplier: x1.35
#teams Multiplier: ???

now here's where it gets a bit ambiguous for me. Does the Canada Cup still follow the '0.87 minimum for mens 0.813 for womens' or does it go by the 'n/16' as it is a special event.

the result would be either a 8.23 or 14.31 depending on which road is taken. pretty significant difference

Does this seem right? Gerry?

I am looking for what the calculation would be on the SFM (strength of field multiplier) used to calculate CTRS and Order of Merit points. Not the draw.

On the WCT website, follow Order of Merit (either men or women), then click the tab that says "Calculations."

You'll see Canada Cup listed as a Special Event.

To get even more specific, if you click the red, italicized "(download the full document with examples here)" at the top of the instructions, you'll get sample calculations. If you have a look at Appendix B: Playdown/Special Event Examples from 2013-2015, you'll actually see the SFM calculation for the 2014 Men's Canada Cup. Presumably, this year's calculation would follow the same methodology.
