If Kevin loses against Quebec this morning ....will

the home crowd of playing in Edmonton just might turn against him? or will curling fans take things in stride as to say" he'll get er done'' ..suddenly the brier favorite has dug himself into a deep hole going zero and two....

It's not that deep. They've played two teams from the top half. I'm pretty confident they'll find their way to the playoffs.

your right it is not a "hole" yet, but you have to feel a tiny bit apprehensive right about now, we know Kevin is a great curler and maybe he is feeling the pressure of having to string a couple of wins together following two straight loses, if he is to be the "champion" again he'll have to regroup team play every end of every game ONE AT A TIME AND FORGET THE FIRST TWO LOSES.... makings of true champion is battling adversity when things don't go your way.....

yeah but the problem is that if they lose every game to the teams from the top hald then they finish 6-5 at best.Then you have those dangerous teams that he still has to contend with. Virtue knows how to beet him and koe had him on the ropes at the last brier they played.

There is still a long way to go and im not suggestling kevin will for sure lose to every other of the " top" teams .

I think he will probably come back enough to make the playoffs no problem. He owns Glenn Howard at the Brier over the years it seems, and Gushue is the only other one he hasnt played who I think would have a decent shot to beat him by midway and later through the week when he has some rythym. He will have to play alot better than now to have any chance to win the event though.

Wow, there are some folks with short memories on this site. This is Kevin Martin, 4-time Brier winner, top on money list etc etc -- I would still bet my first born (if I had one) that they will make the playoffs.
