Nice to get the video for the SCO CDA Jr Men's game. Team Tardi calls weight "Fresh" and "Mint" - #newToMe. Pretty good game. Youthful self deprecation - that's normal.

You get some interesting scores in the juniors. Scottish women were 5-2 up with the hammer against Switzerland with 7 ends in the books. They conspired to lose 9-6.

almost as good as the 6-2 lead after 6 ends that the suisse women let go against the united states in draw one to lose 7-6. or the 5-2 lead the norwegian women had over korea after 5 only to lose 8-6.

seriously, what the hell goes on in these games?. where are the coaches. the strategy at times has been just awful even for juniors this week

If these teams are anything like the Canadian boys I understand.

I watched a bit of the Canada - Scotland game online with the mute on until I saw them call time out. They discussed the shot they wanted to play while waiting for the coach to get there. When he did they (skip) argued and totally ignored the coach's suggestion no no no I'm playing this!
Why bother calling a time out if you're just going to ignore and embarrass both yourself and your coach. To top it off he missed the shot and got very lucky the other team missed theirs too or they were stealing for sure.

Show a little respect to your coach (dad)

I see Cathy Gauthier's son played vice in their win over US. Nice to have opportunity playing with his cousins.

think a great success story here at the juniors this year has been for norway and germany. norwegian women will play for bronze. german men stayed in A division. given their struggles this is a hugely successful week for them.

perhaps signs of life for 2 countries that have produced many good teams but struggled lately

Redemption for Team Tardi after last year's disappointment and congrats to team Burgess! Our future is in good hands, even if I am watching the 2026 Olympic curling with Manitoba Legend in the nursing home.

I think I heard that the Tardi family roots are in Manitoba and of course their alternate is the son of our own, Cathy Gauthier.
