Grand Slams 2019-20 - schedule
Most of the schedule for the 2019-20 Grand Slam has been announced at http://www.thegrandslamofcurling.co...2019-20-season/
Highlights:
- The Elite 10 has been dropped. The prize money it would've awarded is being redistributed across the remaining six slams, so the total prize money for the slams as a whole hasn't dropped.
- Slams start with the Masters on Oct. 22-27 in North Bay, ON.
- 2nd is the Tour Challenge, Nov. 5-10 in Pictou County, NS.
- 3rd is the National at Conception Bay South, NL, Dec. 10-15.
- 4th is the Canadian Open Jan. 14-19 at Yorkton, SK.
- 5th is the Players Championship in Toronto, ON April 7-12.
- 6th and last is the Champions Cup, location still to be determined, April 21-26.

That last one should really be out west somewhere - maybe Kootenay, B.C., after losing their WHL team...

I'm a little surprised Thunder Bay didn't get another one given how well-attended their Tour Challenge was this season, unless of course that last TBD one turns out to stand for "Thunder Bay - Duh!"

Will the Elite 10 be replaced by another spiel or will there now be just the six GSOC events now?

There will be just the six GSOCs now. (So the Grand Slam moniker is now 33.3% less incorrect than it was.)
