Not sure what the answer is. Used to be lots of travel but usually for at least a few days of curling. Now if only two teams travel almost as far for short playoff. I remember one year we went to senior provincials and to get to a one on one playoff in Prince Rupert had to fly through Vancouver. Was actually much shorter going to the provincials which were in Chiliwack. Travel is a huge factor in the Interior and with the emergence of super sponsored teams not much chance of success. Glad you are following Curl BC proceedings.

If you thought I was finished with Curl BC's new Playdown Format...WRONG! Part 3 is now up on the blog.

Why? because if you thought what's happening to adults is bad it has nothing on what's being done to Juniors, their parents, the coaches and the clubs that exist outside of the Lower Mainland and Okanagan.
