I do not know why the previous shuffleboard thread was removed, but for those who missed out it went something like this:

Personally I'm a freelance curler. With my... Economic situation I am not ready or able to invest myself in a curling club. I am, however, looking to join the Belfast curling club as a social member when I can afford to., I figure that's as good a place as any to start.
