Golden Wrench Classic
Is there a "standard" methodology for seeding teams into brackets? Are teams seeded in doing so and, if yes, by whom?

I don't have any inside knowledge of this, but it looks like they split the teams up by their OOM rankings.
So the top four teams: McEwen, Morris, Thomas, and Shuster, all go in separate pools.
Then take the next four: Dunstone, Lyburn, Brown, and Korte, and put one in each pool.

Re: seeding
Hi there, I did the draw for this event. It was seeded as indicated above, by OOM. I can't remember off the top of my head what date I used.

Question: by my count there were 9 teams at 2-2 for the last 2 playoff berths yet only 6 made the tie breakers. How did uou determine those 6? And why didnt you use a shorter, fairer TKO qualifying round instead?

We used head to head as the first tiebreaker. I think next year teams that go .500 we'll allow eliminations by DSC so we're not up all night playing tiebreakers.
