We had previously set the dew point below IST. We also got a fair amount of sublimation along the boards on the side sheets.
We starting setting the DP slightly above the IST. We get a teeny-tiny layer of frost that gets cleaned up really quickly. But we have noticed a lot less sublimation.
We do generally scrape daily and have multiple draws per day, so the ice isn't idle for very long. When the ice sat over the holidays there was a bit more frost accumulated but it was easy to clean up.
It's not exact as temps fluctuate, but for example, our DP is currently set to 25. The IST bounces between about 23.7 and 25.3 depending on the time time of day, outside temp, cloud cover, number of curlers, etc. Most of the time IST is about 24.2 - 24.8
