No, Lawes was replaced by Selena Njegovan.

Walker was miles away in Leduc playing in the Mixed Doubles with Muyres.

I can't verify this since I wasn't there, but I know Joanne Courtney spared for *someone* in that event. Just a wild guess.

She has thrown third before, when she was part of Team Sweeting, with Dana Ferguson as the vice throwing second. That said, Jocelyn Peterman is a former skip and has represented Canada at World Junior, plus mixed doubles experience, so she can probably throw third as vice too.
