Would there still be a Brier? Would each US State get to enter into it or would the US national bonspiel be held to determine the one representative that gets to go? Would there be a "no-relegation" guarantee or could we lose our spot to the big show?

If we sent two teams, would they be the first and second place teams from the Brier?

This could be a lot of fun to discuss over beers this summer!

I agree with Tuck. If there is a country to model a program after it is Switzerland. They fund a small number of teams, but they encourage and assist a larger number of teams to play at a high level. They have a deep bench (4th best womens team wins the world championships) and will be a force for years. Its a much better way to achieve success.
