An enjoyable week of curling, that was...
No doubt Bottcher and his team won many well deserved new fans with both the quality of their play and their decorum, attitude, and sincere demeanour throughout the week. Got to love Moulding's extremely raw and genuine enthusiasm and love for the game...

Always sad when the Brier ends... but the beginning of March to the beginning of April is the busiest month of top-notch curling, with, in addition to the Brier, the male and female Junior World Championships, both the women's and men's World Championships - plus one of the weekend 'grand slam' events thrown in... So... lots of good stuff still to come.

Uh, no. The reality is you are in over your head watching curling and commenting about it.

i don't really care who wins the final now. and to be honest i doubt i'll watch but good luck to both teams in the final

i need a little break.

The semi I feel hinged not on the missed draw resulting in a steal but actually Bottcher's 2 in 3 (?). John was very much in control and I felt that he let a bit of his old gambling self out when he played that cross house double. A simple hit and role to sit 3 would have produced the same force outcome that sitting 5 would and leave a harder triple for the 2. Once Bottcher got that 2 you could see the momentum changing.
