Quebec Scotties

Can anyone tell me why skip, Lauren Mann, is not curling in the Scotties Final, and why no alternate has stepped in. They are curling three against Larouche - and it is a good game.

Well they really only need one sweeper now, right? So why bring in unknown factor. Guess there is no rule about having to use a spare.

Well I never did find out what happened to Lauren Mann -- hope she's ok!

But I did want to say: congratulations to Marie-France Larouche and her team and best of luck next month.

For those who are wondering, I found out through another competitive curler, that Lauren had to leave for a family emergency. That is tough. I think the team curled well, considering what may have been in the back of their minds, and Blais stepped up.

Yes. Congratulations to Marie-France, Annie, and the team. It will be great to have them back at the Scotties. They are always a possibility, in every game. They have a very strong support crew and lots of loving fans. Good Luck Team Quebec.
