The Sportsnet WCT deal seems to be spilling forward, starting with Manitoba Mens and Women's provincials on a 3 year deal. Speculation is this could spill into other provinces too. Great for our sport. Thanks for the inside scoop Mr. Wiecek.

Hopefully it ends up applying to all Provinces who's Provincial Finals are being hosted in a city that has a curling club equipped with a live digital wire going to their building from Rogers. Anyone without that feed has to be tape delayed. Unfortunately not all provinces could have it on sportsnet as not all provinces have Rogers as a provider. NS for instance does not have Rogers. So first MB, I suspect ON will or is already one of them, maybe our province of NB here will join in, and hopefully any other provinces with Rogers as a provider.

All in all, a great breakthrough for curling in Canada and hopefully the USA can continue growing the sport and eventually getting huge major television sponsors!
