Rock speed

A question.
If draw timing is 15 seconds on a rock that rotates 2 times from hogline to hogline. How far would a rock go that rotates 5 times and thrown the 15 seconds?

All other things being equal, and no sweeping, I think the rock with more rotation would go further - maybe back 4, back 8 - and would curl less.

I presume the 15 seconds represents a hog-to-hog split time.

I'll take a stab. If it's still 15 seconds it should go the same distance. However, if the rocks were both pushed with EXACT STRENGTH, one with 2 and one with 5 rotations, I would guess the rock with 5 would only take 14 - 14 1/2 seconds to cover the same distance, therefore in the end traveling farther than the t-line.

I think the rock with 5 turns would go a little farther, but have no real idea how much further. With 10 turns even farther.

Distance measured point-to-point? The rock with more rotation.

Distance measured along the trajectory of the rock? Hard to tell. My guess is - not as much difference as people might think there would be.

I may be having a brain cramp but isn't a rock thrown 15 seconds hog to tee going through the house. do you mean 15 seconds hog to hog.
