India Curling

Wouldn't it be wonderful if a country of 1.2 billion fell in love with our amazing sport!? We are looking to promote Curling in India & among Indian diaspora overseas and could use your help!

Please help us spread the word by liking and/or sharing our Facebook page (website coming soon) - https://www.facebook.com/indiacurling. Also, if you have any thoughts or suggestions on how we can go about building a national Curling program, we'd love to hear them at raju@indiacurling.org.

If it works for Israel, why not India? I'm sure you could find some ABCDs (or Canadian born ones if the same term of endearment applies) to put together a team, get visibility and try to grow the sport that way. Wikipedia claims there are six indoor skating rinks in India right now so that getting ice might be a challenge.

Thanks, Jason! Yes, one of the plans is to find Indian diaspora (mostly NRIs because India doesn't currently recognize dual citizenship) in Canada, US and Europe to put together a team that can hopefully compete at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships soon.
