Points Chase for the Continental Cup

Okay...I gotta say...I like it...

Per press release this morning, there will be an Open Points chase for the US Men's and Women's team representing at the 2016 Continental Cup.

All teams points will be set to zero at the start of the season, the men's and women's team from the US that garners the most points by November 17th gets the invites (assuming they met the administrative prerequisites and qualify as an "American" team per World's guidelines).

I like it because they didn't reserve the slot for an HPP team (admittedly, HPP teams have a leg up in the race since they'll be funded for more higher point events, most likely, but they will still need to produce), and it's really open.

It'll still probably be Shuster, but that's okay in my book
