Okay curlingzone peeps. I've always been a major lurker here, saving my first post for something exciting!

Well, that exciting thing is that my team this season is looking for sponsors! I won't go into details, but I figure you're all dying to know why we didn't join the HPP. Well, we all applied, and gave it our all at the combine, and that all wasn't the right stuff. Therefore, our line-up this year is: myself (skip), Becca Funk (third), Jordan Moulton (second), Kendall Behm (lead).

We are putting together a schedule that rivals that of the HPP teams, and sadly, that still costs money! While one might expect the defending National Champions to be swimming in money, I guarantee we are not. Nor have any of us worked long enough to have significant savings.

This is where you come in. We are following the Dean Gemmell model for sponsors this season. That means that we are accepting mini-sponsors at a cost we hope to be attainable to everyone!

For $300, you get a logo on our jackets (size to be determined by number of sponsors and the USCA rules, all logos must be approved by the USCA), and there's a pretty good chance you'll get a mention or two on our facebook page (www.facebook.com/teamcarlsoncurling), our website (www.curlingteamcarlson.com), or twitter (which can be found on our website).
