Did anyone see this story from a few days ago? Such a great read. One of the true legends of curling Colleen Jones paying tribute to Team Homans amazing recent run of success.Very high praise indeed from a great source. Colleen is right on the money in my opinion.They have gone beyond the next level and have a great well-rounded game. The only thing that could stop them will be trying to find the balance in life. I wouldn't be surprised if Rachel wanted to take a couple of steps back in a couple of years time and maybe have a couple of kids or something. She might even move out of province or something like that. That will be the only thing that stops her dominance.

I doubt that Rachel will move from a Province that she has easily dominated for the past few years. The only team to beat her was from Northern Ontario (Fleury) and NO now has their own berth at the Scotties.

Great thoughts on Team Homan Manitoba Legend.That is a great breakdown of their strengths.I also agree with your points on the strengths and weaknesses of Team Sweeting and Team Jones.Very well said

I don't think the Team would split up before the Olympics ether. They are committed to making them and winning a Gold Medal for sure. After the Olympics though might be a different story. I wouldn't be surprised if they had other priorities in life and didn't want the major commitment of full-time competition.Might not feel there is much left to accomplish and want to move on to other things in life.
