Carey beating Sweeting is a small upset, not even that surprising. Homan getting tripped up by Hanna is a major upset.

Agreed. Carey has been knocking on the door and took Sweeting to the wire in last year's final. This time it was her turn. She is a great skip and with greater consistency will more often be mentioned when discussing Canada's top women's teams.

Arrow

Was at the Montreal STOH and became a huge fan of Chelsea Carey's game. She comes with from a great curling family and knows the game as well as any skip out there. After McCarville Carey is 'mos-def' my choice for this STOH.

Flashback to 2005 a young Jenn Hanna comes to within one game saving last rock save from JJ.
Don't underestimate this other Ottawa team.

Einarson also finished first in her pool. I wouldn't call Einarson winning Manitoba an upset, both teams have been close this season with Einarson actually ranking higher on the CTRS.
