Agree completely with the 'bravo'. It's nice to know that they're willing to go for the repeat (another Olympic appearance), as difficult as that is. Has any Canadian team, men's or women's, ever represented the country in back to back Olympics? I assume not, but not sure.

I believe Kevin Martin did it back to back but with two different teams.

Great News! I wonder who the new coach will be. And I wonder who their 5th will be. I hope they can add a Scotties title to the resume for Kaitlyn.

Martin has skipped two teams at Winter Olympic Games, but not in back-to-back Games. He wore the Maple Leaf in 2002 (Silver with Walchuk, Rycroft and Bartlett ... losing final on a tenth-end steal of 1 to Paal Trulsen of Norway); then Gold in 2010 (with Morris, Kennedy and Hebert ... final versus Norway again, but skipped by Thomas Ulsrud).

Well I guess in some way this is expected. It was pure speculation from fans parts (yes including myself) that she might retire after this year.

They'll have a bye out of Manitoba with Chelsey carey out of the province. She would have been heavy favorite either way but at least with Chelsea there was a small chance of an upset. Now unless Einarsson can follow up her great run last year and keep up that level I don't see anyone getting in her way.

I'm glad Jennifer and team aren't retiring and taking another run at the next Olympics. I do so wish however that M.I. would retire.
