Curling Bocce?

Just walking through the park seeing a game of bocce it popped into my head that it might be interesting to play a game of curling with the bocce rule where one team continues to throw until they out-count shot rock, or are out of stones.

Not really thought this through completely but thought I'd put it on here and see if anyone has ever tried this before.

It seems to me it could be a useful/fun practice game. Four rocks per team of two (or four). Maybe with a rule of no take outs on any rock in the FGZ.

Interested to hear anyone's thoughts.

It looks fun.

But I don't think it will help with my guard placement or raises

probably not.... The manager i had this year was of Austrian descent and accually owned a whole set.... he brought them out on the ice and ya they were neat, right up until he nailed the hack and bent my bolts in the hack plate :/

Played this many times in a jitney or practice.

We set up one of the "Lite Rock" stones halfway between the house and the hog line. This becomes the button.

Rules vary on what happens if you remove the button stone from play. Sometimes the offending team gets to choose where it goes, sometimes the non-offending team.

Stick with the mini-game/short game! So much more intense.
