Remembering Jim "The Bugman" Corrigan

Sadly, the curling world has lost another “character”. Jim “The Bugman” Corrigan passed away on January 26 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Jim was a great friend to many and will be thoroughly missed.

Who could forget that “disc broom” that he so valued- especially the sound it made after he had missed a shot!!!

A Facebook page has been started- “Remembering Jim Corrigan, The Bugman,” where many of his friends have been sharing their experiences with Jim. We know that there are others out there who would also have stories to tell- particularly in the Ottawa area.

Please feel free to share any remembrances that you have.

RIP Jim. We will not forget you.

Curled him in a cash spiel once and he came out with the damndest concoction of a tie-dyed shirt I'd ever seen. Blinding. Had a fun time.
