Al Hackner will be playing with Craig Kochan, Jeff Currie and Colin Koivula next year.
Here is the story from John Cameron's "In the House" column that appears Wednesday's in the Chronicle Journal.
Al Hackner has once again set his sights on representing Northern Ontario at Brier. Hackner has recruited a line-up that includes Craig Kochan, Jeff Currie and Colin Koivula with the hopes they can make a serious run to wear the green and gold in Halfiax next spring. Hackner, who last represented Northern Ontario at Brier in 2001 is making a recommitment to men’s competitive curling with his work retirement pending in late fall of this year. Craig Kochan who played third for Joe Frans at the Ontario Men’s Championships is returning to Northern Ontario after close to a 10-year hiatus. Kochan, who played club curling at the Fort William this year is a former Northern Ontario junior champ who had success playing third for Larry Pineau in the late 90’s before moving to Southern Ontario. Currie who won the Canadian junior championship as skip in 1996, is looking for his first purple heart despite coming close in two provincial finals in 2005 and 2008. Koivula, after a stellar junior career, has also experienced losses in three provincials finals, twice with Currie and once with Joe Scharf. Koivula will be playing lead on this new local squad with other positions to be determined.

Looks like Ottawa's latest attempt is the reuniting of Team Moffatt....haven't heard positions though.....not sure what Cochrane will do now....for some reason he just seems to have enough magic to get to the provincial and not do much while he's there.

Open Spot
Hello all,
Our team is looking for a commited vice for the 09/10 season and longer. We are willing to put the time in to get to the next level.
We have a medium level schedule playing in summer league and three OCT events. Half the team is based in Guelph and one out of Toronto.
Anyone interested in knowing more can contact me at lead.rock@hotmail.com or pm me here.
regards,
steve szymanski
