I am also available, but I will only play for a skip who can consistently make shots like this

Sorry, I just thought I would post the link in case anyone missed Howard's incredible shot from last night. Cheers.

made possible by Jordison and his silly decision on his last shot...what was he thinking? We all called it from the couch that Howard had only 1 hope, and that was the shot he played.

It's easy to call the shot now but what would you have called on Jordisons last rock?

Coming in to sit 3 or double out the two Howard stones on the left of the house.

It was easy to call then....guard the rock he hit (to take away the double), play the double on the Howard rocks on the left side of the sheet (which he did talk about) or place a third stone in on the other side of the house.

Hmm, fodder for another poll?

I would have thrown a rock on the centre line, back 8 foot, to sit three.

Anyone else?

Hit the outside two in the twelve foot, double them so that even if he does make a miracle shot, it's only for the tie. The shot Howard made wouldn't have been there with no rock to come off of on the side, just the long angle run, which was more difficult I think.

This isn't true with my team yet. I have been discussing things quite a bit in the past few days but have not finalized anything yet.....but hope to very soon. I have had discussions that should result in a very good backend being in place.

I'd like to hear from more experienced players, with a past track record of success who are open to playing 2nd or Lead before I make a final decision. You hear from lots of guys who are looking at this time of year. I'm much more likely to go with a guy who I've played against in the past and seen throw than I guy I'm not very familiar with.
