Would you order a *male* curling calendar?

Hey folks.

So, I've been following George Karrys' calendar blitz all day, and have been talking with a few people in the curling world about this whole calendar success phenomina.

One of the ideas one of these persons have raised is to do a similar calendar but for it to be filled with male top curlers instead of women.

The very thought of some of curling's greats doffing their duds for a "full monty" calendar shoot makes me a little uncomfortable, but it did raise a question about the viability of such a venture.

This raises the question: If a male version of this calendar (or a similar publication like it) was available, would you order one?

It depends who is in - a naked Ferbey would make me uncomfortable, but a tasteful photo of a John Morris or similar curler with few or no clothes would make me buy - especially if the money was going to a good cause.

Do they have to be naked? I would certainly buy a "beefcake" calendar, but I feel pretty certain I wouldn't bother with a nude calendar.

While I am pretty sure, well darn sure I would not buy a male nude calendar, we may have stumbled upon something of a money maker. 12 months in the year, 12 teams go to the Brier and the Scott. Not a nude calendar but one with team photos. It could be something of a collectable. Just a thought.

The 1996 STOH put out a calendar and I think sales were pretty good. I do believe the money went towards junior curling. Not sure why it wasn't done again but I think it is a much better idea than a nude calendar.

Wink

I would buy one for sure! I could also think of many male culrers that I would like to see in the clander. I do think that the majority of people would not want full frontals of male curlers. (not everyone is a perv like me) A tastful shot with some cloths on and some muscle showing would be great.
