Source:  Chris Jensen

(Nov 26, 2008) -- At the Women's Interlake Pharmacy Classic in Stonewall it was Kim Link of East St. Paul CC, skipping her team of Colleen Kilgallen, Pam Kolton, and Renee Fletcher to an walk away 8-3 win over Kerri Flett of Selkirk in the final, securing the top prize of $5,000. The undoing in this game came when Link and company had single point steals in the second and fifth ends. As for Flett and squad they’ll receive $2,500 as losing finalists.

Losing semi-finalists of Janet Harvey (9-7 to Link) and Barb Spencer (8-5 to Flett) both of the Fort Rouge CC each took home $1,500 in this 16 team, 4 qualifier event on the WCT/MCT.
In the consolation final and due to commitments, Elmwood CC, Tracy Konzelman and Brandon’s Maureen Bonar agreed to share the consolation money of $750.
