Description:
The Sandra Schmirler Foundation was created in January, 2000 as a legacy to Sandra in recognition and celebration of her love of family. The idea and it’s reality was a collaborative effort by the Canadian Curling Association, Scott Paper Limited (founding sponsor of the Scott Tournament of Hearts), family and friends. Working hand in hand, the Foundation’s mission is to help families with children challenged by life threatening illnesses.
Since it’s inception, the Foundation has proactively provided support to charities that are interfacing with the lives of families in need.
