Brandwood finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brandwood defeated Siyu Han (Changchun, CHN) 8-5, then won 4-3 against Danielle Inglis (Toronto, ON) and 6-4 against Heather Heggestad (Oakville, ON). Brandwood won 4-3 against Jo-Ann Rizzo (Tornto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Gord Carroll Curling Classic - Presented by Winchester Glen Retirement Championship title, Brandwood earned 33.276 world rankings points along with the $4,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 68 spots the World Ranking Standings into 80th place overall with 47.208 total points. Brandwood ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 47.084 points earned so far this season.
