Jayne Stirling/Fraser Kingan (Aberdeen, SCO) is set to play Michele Jaeggi/Sven Michel (Bern, SUI) in the Final of the International Mixed Doubles Dumfries, held March 22 - 25, 2018 in Dumfries, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Stirling/Kingan won 8-7 over Gina Aitken/Duncan Menzies (Stirling, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2018 International Mixed Doubles Dumfries in Dumfries, Scotland; and won 7-6 over Santa Blumberga/Ritvars Gulbis (Riga, LAT) in the quarterfinals.
 
Stirling/Kingan finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stirling/Kingan defeated Scotland's Lucy Blair/Mark Taylor 6-5, then won 6-5 against Marie Turmann/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST) and 10-4 against Hailey Duff/Robin Brydone (Stirling, SCO). Stirling/Kingan won 12-2 against Scotland's Lesley Gregory/Martin Gregory, then won 6-5 against Zuzana Hajkova/Tomas Paul (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.
