Soon Seok Seo (Seoul, KOR) finished 6-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Seo lost 8-5 to Meghan Lino (Cape Cod, MA), then responded with a 10-3 win over Radoslav Duris (Bratislava, SVK). Seo won 15-1 against Matt Thums (Wausau, WI), then won 12-3 against George Eldridge (Connecticut, USA) and 14-0 against Pamela Wilson (Blaine, USA). Seo went on to lose 5-5 against Benoit Lessard (Waterville, QC). Seo responded with a 8-5 win over Justin Marshall (Utica, NY). Seo won 9-3 against Steve Emt (Connecticut, USA) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Cape Cod Wheelchair Summerspiel Championship title, Seo earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque. For week of the event schedule, Seo did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Seo ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
