Samantha Crook (Oromocto, NB) lost 7-4 to Kristin Clarke (Chester, NS) in the Final of the Maritime Junior Women's Bonspiel, held October 14 - 16, 2016 in Moncton, New Brunswick.
 
Crook finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Crook defeated Jenna Bishara (Bridgewater, NS) 9-3, then went on to lose 7-5 against Meghan Ching (Cornwall, PEI). Crook responded with a 6-5 win over Taylour Stevens (Chester, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
