In their opening game, Epping lost 8-2 to Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB), droppimg another game, 5-4 to Charley Thomas (Edmonton, AB) where Epping responded with a 7-6 win over Mark Nichols (St. John's, NL). Epping went on to lose 6-4 against Kyle Smith (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Epping earned 4.200 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. Epping gained 1.684 points improving upon their best events, though dropped 2 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 5thplace overall with 621.644 total points. Epping ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 252.477 points earned so far this season.
