Adam Casey (Charlottetown, PEI) finished 2-3 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Casey lost 9-7 to Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, NONT), then responded with a 7-2 win over Don Bowser (Kingston , ON). Casey won 8-3 against Northern Ontario's Mike Jakubo. Casey went on to lose 5-2 against Newfoundland / Labrador's Brad Gushue. Casey lost 9-6 to Ontario's Peter Corner in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 7 of the event schedule, Casey did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 20th to 21st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 65.586 total points. Casey ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 29.250 points earned so far this season.
