Odishaw lost 8-3 to Robert Desjardins (Chicoutimi, PQ) where Odishaw responded with a 9-8 win over Scott Manners (Battleford, SK). Odishaw won 6-4 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). Odishaw went on to lose 9-6 against Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, Y/NWT). Odishaw responded with a 7-5 win over Jim Cotter (Kelowna, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Odishaw earned 10.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 51 spots the World Ranking Standings into 99th place overall with 19.113 total points. Odishaw ranks 65th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 16.750 points earned so far this season.
